    Chikmagalur is a beautiful district situated on the western part of Karnataka. It is mostly popular for its coffee plantations and a pleasant climate. Another renowned attraction that Chikmagalur is known for is its Bababudan Giri ranges.

  • Having visited both places, I can safely vouch in the Chikmagalur VS Coorg discussion, the latter wins, anyday. The caveat – if lush green hills, coffee plantations and offbeat stays is what you're looking for, then Chikmagalur is the place for you. On the other hand, Coorg is certainly more commercial.
